Julia E. Muñoz is the founding partner of Muñoz Mérida & Asociados. She holds two Master's degree in Taxation and Family Law and has extensive experience in the areas of corporate practice, civil litigation, business transactions, business litigation and family law.
Attorney Muñoz has ample trial and litigation experience and represents business entities, condominium regimes and individuals in a wide array of legal matters. She holds various diplomas in this practice area one of them in Business Law and Corporate Finance from Northwestern University in Chicago Illinois, USA.
Antonio P. Ávila, Esq.
Antonio P. Ávila’s practice focuses on corporate and business law, real estate transactions, foreign investment, trusts, and cross-border matters. He advises domestic and international clients on corporate structuring, business operations, real estate transactions, investment structures, and matters involving the interaction of Mexican and U.S. legal and business environments.
Mr. Ávila forms part of the firm’s cross-border business transactions and disputes practices. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he regularly assists clients in navigating legal and business matters involving Mexico and the United States.
He has completed Master’s degree programs in Business Law and Taxation and, in 2026, attended the University of San Diego’s Legal English and Introduction to U.S. Law program. Mr. Ávila is also a licensed real estate agent in Baja California, Mexico, complementing his legal practice with practical experience in the real estate sector.
